Q & A 1.How is it different from the existing ones? What are the value adds in functionality? I thought of resesigning the squeezer with its traditional mechanism which i thought is user friendly. So many people preferred this form over the round squeezer and most of the vendors use this kind of squeezer. So i tried to understand the cons of the existing design . One among many was the area of contact with the lemon . Also the handles were preventing the squeezer from applying maximum force . Another and important one was the mess . The juice from it overflows and it messes hand so i tried to reduce the contact and the sharp surfaces . This design is detachable and easy to clean also.

After user analysis , the next step is to develop concepts. We were asked to make concepts using the keywords made using the previous research. I made two concepts for this step. First was the press with flat surface Other was with smooth surface with teeth inside the press.
